When I was originally tasked with finding a subject to write about in Latin, my mind immediately went to the idea of writing about the colosseum and gladiators. I have always been fascinated with the subject, and I wanted to build off of the ideas that I had learned in elementary school and the events and facts that I have seen portrayed in movies and TV.
After I selected my topic, I immediately went around the library trying to find books that related to my topic. While I did have some minor success finding books about roman architecture and culture, I realized that a vast majority of my information was going to be found on the internet due to the great amount of information that was available.
